Size: up to 1,8 cm

Enclosure: Normal with 1/3rd wet part.

Additional info: Here it is; the most resilient, common, easiest to keep rolling species of them all; Armadillidium vulgare. Perfect beginner species. Their markings and color vary a lot especially when collected from different areas. Starter culture for these was collected in Savinjska region of Slovenia. Some individuals are completly black, while others have very heavy yellow marking, some show slight brown-red colorations as well.
